we have excavators of various sizes between 3t to 20t with flail mowers or forestry mulcher attachments available.
Our flail heads are capable of cutting any vegetation from grass and small saplings up to larger branches of approx 50mm and large heavy bramble growth.
Using an excavator and mulcher to clear vegetation or trees is a very cost effective route versus manual clearance and means all material cut is shredded and left to rot away in situ.
If you’ve got large overgrown areas of vegetation then an excavator and flail is the most cost effective way to clear it and a job that would’ve previously taken days by hand can be completed in a matter of hours with a machine.
This method of site clearance also increases safety and removes manual workers from risky zones.

An excavator with a flail attachment is a very versatile piece of machinery, it can cut and mulch vegetation of any type up to approx 100mm depending on the machine access available.
For any areas with restricted access but larger diameter trees to cut then a tree shear on a smaller excavator is a viable option.
